Susan has an Instagram?
I finally added an Instagram account. Its a lot less formal and a lot of things that amuse me at that moment. Lots of River and Scooby Dee are to be seen, as well as an occasional appearance by the kitties.

Please be careful with tie out springs!
We took Scooby out to watch the supermoon eclipse in our front yard. Her tie out caught on a hose guide. It came out with a snap and somehow the tie out spring hooked onto Scooby’s eyelid!
Luckily, it is not go INTO anywhere on her eye. No scratch, no puncture, but a very close call. I thought for sure that we would have to seek the assistance of an emergency care vet. It isn’t the way we would want to meet Hamburg Village Vet!
Safety of any pet is a huge concern for us and we want to make sure to pass along information to other pet parents!
Dingo Dog Treats Recall
Per Dog Food Advisor
September 23, 2015 — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced the recall of Dingo Chip Twists “Chicken in the Middle” dog treats because it has the potential to be contaminated withamantadine.
Amantadine is an antiviral human drug that’s not approved for use in animal food.
The FDA has labeled this event a Class III recall. So, whether or not to issue a press release is left to the discretion of the company.
Please make sure to read your labels and check your ingredient lists. If you wouldn’t eat it, don’t feed it to your pet.

We here at Hubbard Photography would like to thank Southtowns Animal Hospital for hosting us for their open house on September 19th!
It was a pleasure meeting fellow clients and talking about our favorite topic – our pets! Many wonderful pooches stopped by – Scooby was very jealous when we came home!
Southtowns provided lovely refreshments and wonderful goodie bags! Scooby loved the sock monkey and tennis ball! <3
Our winner for the complimentary session and $100 print credit will be announced shortly! We apologize for our delay 🙂
Our next show will be at the Buffalo-Niagara Reptile Expo on October 11th at the Buffalo Marriott Niagara, 1340 Millersport Hwy. Amherst NY 14221. Doors open at 9 AM
From the AKC page on the Japanese Chin,
The Japanese Chin is a small, well balanced, lively, aristocratic toy dog with a distinctive Oriental expression. It is light and stylish in action. The plumed tail is carried over the back, curving to either side. The coat is profuse, silky, soft and straight. The dog’s outline presents a square appearance.
We enticed Lola to pose on the couch with treats hiding on the arm. She took the time out of her busy schedule of spinning in a circle to accommodate us =) This was our last image taken and she was quite tired of our nonsense by this point.
Being the center of attention is very hard work! It takes away from time spent in her momma’s lap or in her favorite bed!
Meet Lola, the Japanese Chin!
Her hobbies include spinning in circles, sitting on laps, being underfoot and having her ears rubbed. She is also very good at having her tongue out at all times and being underfoot.
Sweet Lola’s original owner could no longer take care of her and was in limbo at our vet office. One of the assistants decided to bring Lola home.
Her challenge to me: “Make Lola dignified!”
Did I win my challenge?
